So this weekend I swam for 3200M on Saturday morning and then biked 40 miles (2 hrs.) in the afternoon. Then on Sunday I ran for 8.5 miles.

So this weekend I swam for 3200M on Saturday morning and then biked 40 miles (2 hrs.) in the afternoon. Then on Sunday I ran for 8.5 miles.
I did an hour on the bike this morning in Spin Class and then did an hour on the treadmill. I’m still taking it easy on my runs with 45 minutes at 6.5mph and the other 15 at 7.0
I was sick over the weekend so I didn’t get a lot accomplished but I did manage to swim 1500 meters on Saturday and another 2000 meters on Tuesday.

Picked up some new Speedo Vanquisher 2 goggles yesterday and had to try them out this morning. My old ones would fill with water when I’d push off the wall hard so I couldn’t do flip turns.
I also read a really good post by TJ Frey about why I should be doing flip turns so I spent the better part of my workout doing shorter sets with flip turns at each end.

In total I swam about 1800 Meters in around 45 minutes.
